Volvo Amazon Servo issue
Hi. I am having an issue with my servo and wondered if anyone can help please.
I have a 1968 123gt amazon with factory servo. The servo was old and not working. I replaced it with a genuine lockheed servo and installed it exactly as per Amazon cars video. I also changed calipers, discs and all breaks etc. Servo was connected with valve to the intake manifold. The crank case breather was connected with T connection into the vacuum line before the valve as per instructions. The problem is that when the crank case breather is connected to the system the servo does not work. When I disconnect the crank case breather and it vents to atmosphere and I run a straight line with valve from servo to intake the servo works. Is this likely to be due to loss of vacuum? Is it due to intake manifold leak or to an issue with the engine. I would be grateful for your opinion. Thanks |

I always use a dedicated line for the servo hose, use another connection for teh breather
