yeah the 740 14" ones wont fit 940s exactly due to the caliper issues.

Still unsure about the 15" wheels off a 940 onto my 2001 V70. Caliper issues wouldnt cause a problem as i have the smaller brakes. As I said the tyre fitter couldnt see a problem with the offset. Anyone else have any ideas?

Might be worth posting in the main section - something along the lines of will 940 wheels fit V70, will the offset be wrong etc

Going to swap my 15" winter tyres I bought for 16" winter tyres (will have to speak nice to my tyre dealer) as finding a set of cheap 15" wheels to fit my 2001 v70 is proving very difficult. Plenty of 16" wheels on ebay though. Cant see the tyres costing too much more?

You were correct yes. Got myself 4 x 16" 850 wheels for £40. If you ask enough people you will find a set. Bit tatty, but if I drive through enough muddy puddles who will know. My tyre dealer has agreed to swap the 15's I bought for 16's. Of course they would (more money). Cumbrianmale As stated above my tyre dealer is taking them back so wont be selling them, Cheers Lesson learned If anyone is planning on getting a set of wheels for winter, dont look for 15's! |
