I intend to do this with mine. I just need to verify they'll fit in the 16" mimas alloys (looks enough clearance, plus, the 286 fit inside 15" wheels) and find some carriers...

Hi Andy , you do find them on here some times, I got mine from ebay, I paid £40 they came with callipers(that I did not use) they came from a T5,
I don't know what Volvo charge for them, I think they will fit with 16" wheels, you do not have to change the pipes, Dave |

There’s a fair chance that taking the disc off and putting it back on again will help, just by dint of the operator cleaning up the hub of the rust and crap that gets behind it....
Most common cause of brake judder? Holding the vehicle on the service brake after heavy applications. America, almost entirely populated by automatic transmissions, makes a fair penny out of routinely skimming brake discs.... |

For years, after exiting a highway and awaiting the light to turn green, I take my foot off the service brake and lightly apply the hand brake to avoid the deposits mentioned here.
It's a sorry state of affairs when you consider the likelihood of the engineers knowing exactly what compounds both rotor and pad need be made of. |
