Default XC60 Indicator and Wiper System Fault

Hi

Was out yesterday, 45 miles from home, and started the car to be told there were faults in the indicator and wiper systems, and neither would work. Turned it off and on again but stayed the same so was forced to drive home on dual carriageway and motorway without indicators, which was 'interesting' to say the least!

Left the car alone for a few hours at home and lo and behold, all working again, and fine this morning. Booked in for repair tomorrow, also due its first service so getting that done too. Will report back on the fix; hopefully they can tell something was amiss yesterday from the computer on board and I won't just be told 'well it didn't do it while it was here so we can't tell what's wrong'.

Just wondering if anyone had come across similar? I did google the symptoms and found some reference to the two failing together on another forum.
