D5 (Euro4) correction figures.
Hi folks, can anyone help me understand these correction figures? I fitted a reconditioned injector recently and have found any power application to be rough / lumpy.
Cylinder 5 had a replacement injector back in January as it had a Euro 3 injector in and was fine. Cylinder 1 had one at the start of May and doesn’t feel as good. Coding was done with vdash. The results are as follows. Before: C1. 0.23/-0.21 C2. 0.1/-0.5 C3. 0.05/-0.06 C4. 0.15/0.05 C5. 0.07/-0.05 After: C1. -1.76/-2 C2. 0.07/0.02 C3. 0.64/0.54 C4. 0.78/0.68 C5. 0.63/0.45 The replacement injector in cylinder one seems to have a huge difference with the figures. I’m planning on putting the old one back in, but would like to understand what it means. All I know is that it shows if the ECU is increasing or reducing the amount of fuel being applied. Is my recent replacement injector faulty? Thanks. |
