There should be a forum for DPF's i reckon!!!

Thanks again all.
The 75K service is not £1500. If it is then change your dealer as they charge too much.

Mine is coming up in a month and it will cost £917 as that's what I've been quoted.

Shop around and don't assume that all dealers charge the same amount. They are business' are have varying costs. The only thing that will be consistant are the componant costs and even that can be negotiated.

Supply your own oil too.

I don't have a DPF, just quoting what i read on here about a year ago now when i was looking for my car. Guess prices have dropped a bit now.

Will phone around nearby Volvo dealrers and check the difference. Guess the oil is the bulk of that.

Was expecting £2-300 tops really.

Now how does that work?

Will wait to see what Milton Keynes say...

As your car is an older one, have you asked for a quote on "essential service"

It will be cheaper.

Northampton, Milton Keynes and I think possibly Hemel Hempstaed my be part of same group, in which case they may all quote the same.

It may be though that one dealer will want your business more than the other, so don't just stop at the first quote.
