Default Filler pipe rubber elbow

Has anyone any thoughts about cutting another hatch in the floor to replace the filler pipe rubber hose like those used to access the fuel pump? Anyone done it?

I was thinking drop the tank a little so I could get at part through the hole under the rear seat but I have no idea whats involved in freeing up the tank?

I know this is an old post but I cant find a hole under the rear seat.

Was considering this myself as there is no way to access pipe without dropping subframe. Have managed to disconnect both pipes from tank but the is not enough space to remove the whole filler neck.
