An excellent choice, 'Zlornick', thanks for the update.
Having owned 1, 2, 3, 7, and 9 series cars, as well as my present V70, the only practical disadvantage of the 2 compared with the 7 / 9 series estates in my opinion was the lack of a split folding rear seat. It's fitment in the later cars greatly enhanced flexibility in daily use.

Looks a nice car you've got there! Good luck with it and i daresay we'll see you on here for some of the stuff not usually covered in the 240 section!
