Default s40 2.0d locking 2004

Hi,

just noticed recently when i lock the car the drivers door does not always lock, if I keep pressing the button on the fob the lock on the car goes a bit further down each time and them does lock, or if I press to the fob to unlock then lock that seems to work.

Anyone got th same problem or know a solution? like I say does lock eventually just a bit of a pain

Cheers

Mark

you will probably need a new lock/motor assembly unless the push rod is catching on some sticky foam behind the door panel .
