So what actually happens? Is there a sort of programme or do folks just meet in the car park and chat/look at each others cars? Forgive my ignorance but I havent been to anything like this. Would more modern nordic cars be welcome?

This is the reply I got from the ACE Cafe when I queried if it was limited to cars of a certain age:

Hi Brian,

the Norse night, 22.11.2006, is indeed open to all Scandinavian vehicles and the evening starts from 6pm. All are very welcome.

If you have a look at their website http://www.ace-cafe-london.com you will see that you turn up have a bite to eat (or not) look around the cars and talk with the owners.

Throughout the year they have special nights, including a classic night on the second Tuesday of each month and when I noticed the "Norse Night" I thought it might be a chance for all VOC members, drivers of both classics and moderns, to get together.

Come on you London/Essex/Herts/Middx owners, we have only got nine cars confirmed so far, and there is a big danger that we will be outnumbered by the S**bs.

18.00h onwards on Wednesday 22nd November at the Ace Cafe. All Volvos welcome.
