By easiest it could be just replacing the latches with electronic ones and getting dealer to enable the option on software. Just would the harness have all the necessary wiring by default.

All V90s have an automatic load cover - which means it slides up out of the way when you open the tailgate. Afaik it’s been the same since launch, so what are you hoping it will do that it doesn’t already?

Not a chance. Are there any independents out there who might do just front sensors and be able to add the coding to integrate them without the self park??

My V90 has integrated front and rear sensors, but no ParkPilot, so they were obviously available for 2018 models.

I know it’s possible. It’s just Volvo who want to money grab for a simple software upgrade to allow owners to have front sensors. It’s a ****in disgrace.
