I’ve been using Bluetooth tethering with my iPhone to get my XC60 (MY2018) connected to the internet and it’s been perfect, connects every time and just a few seconds after starting the car the ‘world’ symbol appears.
In the last two days this is not the case, I have re-paired the phone to no avail and the only way I can get the car to connect is by going into settings>communication>Bluetooth devices and then un-checking and re-checking the Bluetooth Internet Connection. Which is a royal PITA! Does anyone have any solutions to get this working automatically again? |

Strange. Does sound like an iPhone issues, so two thing:
1. Have you done an IOS iPhone update in the last 2 days? 2. Try an iPhone ‘Forced’ Reboot option that often clears up a few hanging data isssues.

I use android and there is a tick box in the settings "settings/more networks/tethering and mobile hotspot/bluetooth tethering" to allow bluetooth internet sharing, you should have a similar setting on ios. Check itvis ticked.

The reset of phone worked perfectly, thanks! No IOS update recently so must just be one of those things. Cheers
