Misfire
had a low misfire on Sunday on way to a meet so came back home. This what investigation found. Not just worn away, Broken.It's the second time this has happened. Berol dizy cap.

Check that the cap is seating properly. They normally have a semi-circular cut out in the edge to clear the connection for the ignition wire. Bosch do and I don't know about Bero ones but it doesn't look as if it has one, just the recess. Is the brush stuck? If so it won't make good contact with the rotor.
I had a Vauxhall Cavalier that ran on the spring when the carbon brush broke and fell out. It was running fine but you could signs of arcing! |

It sits on my 123 dizy. i wonder if there is a slight mismatch. I will contact Albertronic. Two in a short space of time?
