Default BRC software

Hello all. I am finally going to try and access my LPG ECU as I have had several issues with fuel trim and the only way I can seem to clear codes is to disconnect the battery. I can see lots of communications cables for sale that connect to the BRC ststem but, I cannot seem to find the software for sale anywhere. I am after some compatible with Linux/ Mac OSX. Can anyone give me a pointer please?

Good luck with that. Sorry, however, I'm a Mac user and have been for since the mid 90s. I have never seen CNG/LPG software that wasn't PC based.
You will struggle. In fact, worse than that, I can be pretty sure you will fail. Even with a PC, they're not quite like the Mac world. You might be OK with BRC, but often the older software and more obscure software is not around, so if you didn't get it or the data leads for it, at the time, it's eBay and hope.

The good thing is, PCs being what they are, they are cheaper new, but prices drop like a stone. If they're more than five minutes old, you'll get one second-hand for peanuts.

BRC is right PITA as there hundreds of versions of teh software and a lot of cables and many that look the same but are not teh same. Very hard to connect DIY (bad enough for a BRC installer) without adding not being a Microsoft user

OK, 'classic' has corrected me a little with the details, but essentially, especially with a Mac, it's a non-starter. Sorry.

Just got an cooking-grade clunker Packard Bell 8 year old PC laptop for £45. If it were Mac of that vintage it'd be worth £3-400.

So I can back up my point, re how cheap perfectly decent PCs are. Needs PC software to run, I've a classic car that needs a 123ignition programable dizzy.

Old PCs become throwaway very quickly. At £45 I can leave it the shed for next time I look at the dizzy.
