It was on here 3 years ago.

The only way it could possibly be worth that is if it had a complete nut and bolt tear down and rebuild by that Steve fellow in the project section.

I'm confused as to why the previous owner spent £5000 on extras, but skimped originally by going for the inferior 2.0 turbo engine.

It does look really good, don't think its worth that much but it is original so perhaps it should command a premium? For that cash you could spec up a far better 940 (estate, m90, 2.3 block, better aftermarket suspension and braces etc, power mods). Perhaps it should be locked away in someones collection

Advert reads well until it mentions the ditchfinder Marshall tyres!

Something odd I noticed.

The underbonnet photo shows it has no engine undertray.

Odd for a car so clean, especially since that part was a standard fitment.

Sorry, but there's no way a volvo 940 is worth that much.

I like them (a lot) but that's just taking the mick.

At the other end of the pricing scale, here's another saloon being discussed http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=174975

I think the less expensive one could be made quite nice for not much cash

Overpriced by about 4k.
Wheels worth 200 each yum yum,
bodykit about 1k to someone with no taste,
the car, a clean 60k saloon, yuk , 1k
fake wood trim is not all matching (the astrays darker)and thats a big failure to "concourier fanatico's"

If i win the lottery tonight .......

i will buy it, take the wheels for ornaments/just for having them so no one else has reasons, sell the accessories on here cheap and punt the remains, to a charity banger run team for £250

Wales hah you boyo's made my day .....

Not really helpful but my best bet would be Sweden. Looking on Blocket a majority of the 900s have those kits fitted out there.
