Cr-906 & 6 disc changer & cable (code inc)
I have changed the radio on my 940.
Surplus to requirements is the original cr-906 rds radio cass, 6 disc cd changer that sits in the o/s cubby hole in the boot , cable to connect the cd to radio, and the code. Clean and good working order, pictures tomorrow (wed) . £ 40 (plus postage if needed) |

Also intersted if Volvologist does not want for his 740. Do you know if it would be a straight swap for the Volvo radio/casette in my '97, 745 SE?

Fit wise, it will be the same, I think the wiring loom is different though, also 1987 has a different radio loom from 1988 MY, which is changed again in 1992 (ish) MY 940 (from my experience.....)

Sorry Volvologist and Diesel I should have said 945 and NOT 745 - hence the ref to 1997.

piccys
pictures , there is a converter lead that you can get for old 740 to newer 940 , it costs £8 . or you can pin swap if you have an hour to spare. The cd multi changer needs 12v positive and negative to the 2 pin plug (not rocket science) and just plug the lead from head unit to disc changer, the bracket is o/e volvo and is specfically for the 700/900 series estates,
Thats it really. Postage is probably £15 given the box will be big and weigh about 6 kilos. call 0787 857 9646 , first come first served |

I am still totally delighted with my £39.99 Aldi radio, with so many 'extra' facilities, including blue tooth, that I fitted in the Autumn of last year to my 745 . The only extra was an Autoleads 'loom/amplifier by-pass' plug set at £12.
