Just worked out the cost of material. It comes to a lot more than I thought. Im going to put a flexi pipe in it. Which isn't cheap. So it'll be at least £100 possibly a little bit more. I'll know once I've made mine.

Well u answered my question already! That looks a bit of a crazy thing. Never seen them for sale before. I know some super cars run similar things, but I didn't realise u could buy them.

I'll be interested in a dp and strutbrace, shortly once the olive 855r is finished.

The 3" straight housing was iirc only fitted to the manual v70r / s70r 4.4 with the 18t so quite difficult to get.

The earlier 850s had the conical or straight 2.5", which are easy to get hold of.

The me7 19t's fitted to the v70r 99-2000 are 3" angled, but fitted they would angle upwards towards the bonnet iirc.

So the straight 3" is only fitted to 97-98 s70r / v70r as far as I remember but please check.

Would it be possible to make a 2.5 version for the straight earlier flange that are easy to find, they are less restrictive than the standard conical flange

Default flange

I thought it was only the angled flange that was 3", interesting.

Definately not the only 3" I'm a 850 / p1 / p2 enthusiast and iirc the 3" straight is the rarest of the housings and all are interchangeable with a few exceptions (not anything that would cause issue).

It's also worth noting the k24 has the same 3" angled fitment as the td04 3" angled flange but can be fitted to a td04 equipped car easily and flows 535cfm ish iirc, they also love to boost really early.

So if you can make a dp to fit the angled 3" it's possible to fit the k24, I've seen this done on turbobricks before.
