I bet that's cheaper than it would have been at Halfords for an equivalent battery...

And would you trust Halfords to fit it correctly ?

And would Halfords know that it's an AGM battery?

This time when they changed it I didn't even loose any settings. Also going to the dealer ensures you get the right item.

I figured out the battery test on vida, my only proble now is it’s too cold, it was over 70% charge so needs to be 12degrees but my battery was only 5degrees, so I need to maybe find a way of getting it warmer, maybe inside somewhere and test it then instead.

I think mine was only reporting 56% charge so actually failed at stage 1 of the test.
That was after a 100mile drive down to the servicing dealer so defo not in the best of health.

So I’ve just managed to do the test, needed to do it after a run to warm the battery up slightly, and it’s come back saying it’s failed and to replace, however in the bottom right corner it’s got a warranty code, would this mean it’s covered under warranty? It’s a 62 plate but vida says it’s a 2013 car.

the 56% state of charge has nothing to do with the Built in battery test , in fact it must be below 60% to enable the test .. a long drive is not the best way to bring the battery up either , you need a long charge at home from a battery charger of 20 Amps or more .
