Ironically, I was debating retro fitting the phone module thingy in place of the cup holder that usually lives there given the latter are pretty hopeless... though not sure how to go about fitting the phone function to a car that never had it in the first place?

Thought the phone was a gimmick when I got a car with it in recently, but it’s been useful on a couple of occasions when I left my iPhone at home. It is only 2g and highly doubt it would be easy or cheap to retrofit.
There’s a couple of v70s been proven at the minute, they may have the fairly useless cup holder in them? Again taking it out will likely be hassle and start generating lots of error messages. |

The 'Thing' that's there instead of a phone is a mechanical cup holder ...
