Is the water coming from the washer nozzle / pipe, or is it rain water leaking in from the outside ?
Mine was rain water leaking in, so i just put some sealant under the nozzle !

Discovered during the recent heavy rain that my rear washer jet gasket has perished and letting water into the third brake light and into the boot.

Some clear sealant (CT1 I think) later and it seems to be fixed.

I literally just cleaned round it, dried it off and used a sealant gun to go round it followed by smoothing down. Not very neat but its clear so it doesn't stand out.

Don't really seem to get puddles in the spare wheel well these days although the boot does sometimes smell damp.
