They're standard on the Pro version of each trim, you can't add them separately. So you need to go for Momentum Pro.

I have bending headlights as standard on my inscription and I can understand your desire to get them on your new car as I wanted them on mine but now if I did not have them I would not miss them, they move a little but I can't see any benefit at all in them bending. Standard LED headlights will be just as good, the adaptive high/low and shadow tech I have is good but again I would be happy with standard LED lights.

I will look for that, I’ve been using the online car configuration on the Volvo website. So that will save £500 , the std set up is fine in my opinion.

I have the lights on my current MY17 , and is one of the best features , the shadow tech is brilliant. I can’t see the extra £3k plus for the pro being worth it as seems to be the leather that’s the main difference , along with headlamps. I will scrub the mud flaps , so this post has saved me around £700 :teeth_smile Thank you! |

I love the active lights on mine. I have the R Design Pro version, so it's the all singing, all dancing bending and auto dimming LEDS and they are great.
I had bending lights on my last Touareg, and they appeared to move horizontally a bit more than the XC90, but the XC90 LEDs are just better. The auto dim is excellent - presumably that's the "shadow tech" mentioned above, where it just cuts part of the high beam? I've tested this quite a lot and it's fast and accurate. Works well and doesn't blind other motorists. |
