Question Electric Window lifts 265 to a 244 ?

I saw this and was thinking of purchasing and its twin also available.

https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Volvo-265-El...bcq65#shpCntId

My question is will they fit my '77 244 ?
I have had to purchase new lifts and sash seals ,so I will be doing some open door surgery.

I have change lifts on my old W124 200TE, (sadly had to let her go) so I am familiar with the process ,it 's just a question of fitment.

As the doors are interchangeable you shouldn't have any problems, assuming the fixtures and fixing come with the units; but the door-cards on your car will need modifying, and you'll need to mount the switches somewhere, as well as making up a loom to connect to the fusebox.

The vendor is breaking a 240 estate that MIGHT have electric front windows.

Thanks Loki.
By the way if anyone is doing the sash seals be advised part number 1028650 /1268231 is just a length of rubber . It would be a better job to use a polyurethane sealant , if using the rubber it needs to be folded and the glass wedged in which requires a lot of force.
Rather than risk damaging the rail (thin pressed metal) and the glass ,the genuine Volvo parts where consigned to the bin. Skandix do list a sealant as an alternative , but I can source any amount in my work warehouse that will do the job.
