Looking for some Gemini alloys, where do I search?

I've been on the hunt now for some gemini wheels for my 2.0 740 but I can't find any anywhere, I know they're extremely rare but maybe I've been looking in the wrong place? Can someone help out a guy who's new to the volvo scene, Thanks!

Sweden and the rest of Europe. I know a couple of people who have a set but they aren't selling. Try Tradera or blocket.se.

The other things you could try are doing a search on ebay.co.uk and then clicking the "Save search/get email alerts" thing that pops up so you get emails if/when a set is listed or putting a Wanted ad on the forum - but i see you've already done that bit!

The other option might be, are there any other wheels you like that are more easily found? I know of a set of Adharas that will be coming up at some point in the future at a sensible price.

Of course, if you are dead set on the Geminis, the only thing to do is sit and wait while putting out feelers, a set will turn up sooner or later.

If you could settle for some fake Gemini's (kinda), I've got some Borbet Type A's for sale, 16x7.5". But they would need adaptors, and I think that would result in them sticking out around 20mm more than Gemini's.

Look on UsedAlloyWheels.co.uk.

It allows yo to put your make and model in anthe searches for wheels to fit tat are for sale.

The Polaris wheel looks very similar or there's a set of Dracos on ebay, also 5-spoke design :

Contrary to the listing, i don't believe they were ever fitted to the 760, not as standard anyway. LIkewise with the Dracos, i'm fairly sure it was Virgos on the 740GLT and/or turbo but can't remember exactly.

I think a set might come up on ebay every 4 years or so. I have asked a bloke in Belgium and his Dad has a set but people who have them don't want to sell! You'll be looking at 500- 800 euros though .

Don't just look in the usual places like eBay/Gumtree.

Maybe join a FB Group and quite often you will see someone selling a part or breaking something that may be of interest. Often, they don't actually say what they have or are doing. Send them a PM, and ask if they might have what you may want.

I am a bit of a late 700 Series VDO cluster collector 'holic, and have just picked up yet another complete late 745 cluster at a reasonable price after negotiation and on the basis of detailed pics. Just await delivery next week to see what I have bought - warts and all!!
