Question Your views please.

Its been a while since i owned a Volvo and i am considering bidding for this one, but not sure about the ETS being a bit duff. Is this around the right price ?????
Im actually looking for an 850 estate which might be less problematic.....

Price doesn't look to bad to me assuming the ETM isn't shot although they can be replaced at the Volvo main dealers (not too sure about current price) - When mine died it set me back around £330 to get the fault cured which involved sending the defective part to bba remanufacturing (this avoids the need to load new software to the cars ECU).

If you can get the car for under £1250 bearing in mind the cost of the probably repair to the ETM then it looks good even if its got scuffed up bumpers (so has mine) - Nice colour for the car though, silver in some lighting conditions and gold in others.

Not had an issue with my 2000 V70 since the ETM went though, great car, but the seller is claiming a £45 software load will fix the ETM issue - sadly thats BS - Mike

Yes, the 850's have ecu's. The owner says that another reload will fix it.........then another, then another......thats not fixed is it!
Good luck whatever you choose.
