I have one for my car that has sat without a battery for about a year. When I get a new battery, how do I re-program it?

Also, if I bought one off E-Bay, how would I program it to my car?

Cheers

Philip, as far as I know the V70 remotes can only be programmed at the dealer.

I have just fixed my remote as follows..

Remove battery and cover using a 2p coin

Price back cover off using a pen knife blade, starting at the slot closest to the metal ring.

Circuit board then falls out.

Spray WD40 over the 2 switches and wipe off any gunk. Spray again and press the switches lots of times to work the WD40 into the switch.

On reassembling you can feel the switches have a much more positive action and he car locks/unlocks with every press of the button.

Didn't see any dry solder joints in my remote but worth checking.
