Hi wondering if anyone can help me. Just had my car go into a reduced power mode after getting it looked at by a garage they want to charge me £1600 to fix it. basically my question is if any knows what injector offset at max learning means as it has happened to 3/4 injectors.

Can you just swap injectors out on these engines or do they need to be coded by the ECU to work correctly. I have found second hand ones from a Volvo breakers yard online and they have only done 6k would these be okay to go into the car if needed.

Any help is much appreciated.

They need to be programmed to ecu and a calibration road test carried out to make it so it can be driven again,

thanks for the answer about the injectors, so even if the injectors came from the same model and engine size they would need re-calibrated?

Yeah if you look at numbers on top there is a 6 digit code that needs to be programmed to ECU via 30 quid injector calibration software download

Thanks. Is there any way that I could get the car out of the reduced performance mode at all. And is there anything else that could cause a problem with the injectors like air flow.
