Default Help! Blower fan

Hi guys. I just swapped out my blower fan for a replacement. Replacement unit is for same model year and when I plugged it in to test before fitting it worked perfectly. Then had the night mare job to refit it under the dash and now it’s not working. Took it out. Unplugged, plugged back in. Working again. Refitted again. Not working. Grrrr. I’ve tested the connections with my multi meter and they all appear ok. I’ve disconnected and reconnected the battery a few times to see if it reset but no joy. So I’m out of ideas. Any body got any clues please?
Thanks.

I have changed just 2 of these on high mileage XC90, It was never the fan motor but the speed controller under the fan motor in the black casing. I don't suppose you have not fitted it correctly and when you have done up the screws it has distorted the casing and jammed the fan blades? The 2 inch thick foam needs pulling back to easy the job.
