C30 Engine : - Does my 2008 C30 have a DPF?

Hi people, I have a 2008 C30 2.0L R-Design and when I use to the VIN number to check the 8th digit is a

'4 – Euro4 (depends on production year and destination market)'

I'm in the UK and it's 2008 obviously diesel.

I am getting a friend to repair my exhaust but needs to know if it has a DPF fitted. Any help would be perfect, thankyou.

Can you not see the DPF? it's a canister about 200mm diameter and about 400mm long with sensors connected either side.

Be careful if your 'repair' disturbs the innards of the DPF because the car will not be happy with that, it must remain intact for proper service.

Hi. I have the same model & year and I thi k you'll find that yours does not have a dpf fitted. I particularly chose the euro 4 model so as to save any dpf issues further down the line.
