Volvo wiper blades that don't fit the housing?
Has anyone had a problem fitting new wiper blades? The part that covers most of our cars (32237898) - inc my 2008 V70 - differs slightly to the last one, also Volvo, particularly in the fitment itself, which won't go into the housing.

I've just today put on a new passenger side blade to my 2008 XC70. The new blade fitment had an additional couple of 'prongs', which the old one didn't, and whilst it was fiddly to fit - the 'extra' parts made no difference.

Thank you Beanwood - have only tried the driver's side so far, but will keep fiddling.

I recently renewed my wiper blades for new Bosh ones at £18+ and received a note from the supplier to make sure I had ordered the correct fitment, as there are several different fittings for these cars,ie P3 V70 & P2 XC70 The fittin types are usually displayed in the Bosh advert on Ebay.

Thank you, I did once try Bosch, but replaced them with Volvo as they slapped against the screen pillars (inexplicably, as they were the correct size)

The dealer confirmed that the blades are revised and 'very fiddly' to fit - it seems the old ones, which slid in very easily, had developed a habit of sliding out again.
