Rear trailing arm bushes
After removing a tyre on the XC90 today due to a screw on the shoulder I noticed the trailing arm bushes looking sorry for themselves.... I've got new wishbones ect for the front so going to do some bushes to the back too. For the trailing arms does anyone recommend using a rubber bush or a Polly bush? I know Polly is usually the answer but seen posts about other bushes and the mount eats the pollu bush ect... Any links ect would be useful too. Thanks

I used Volvo ones
Hi I used Volvo bushes at the subframe end of the trailing arm but you do need a puller to fit them. Price was reasonable. Actually quite easy to and it restored by rear wheel geometry on the 4 wheel alignment t.

I have also done the ones at the subframe end. I used Volvo originals as the ones on there were original as far as i could tell and they had done over 240k miles and 15 years.
I carefully cut the old ones out and then used threaded bar and sockets to instal the new ones. |
