Unhappy All kinds of faults while in motion

I get all kinds of fault codes including anti-skid failure and break failure, but also a number of network codes. It happened about a year ago and I took it to a shop and they said there wasn't anything wrong. They took the electrics apart, cleaned them, and put them back together and it was all OK. If I just let the car rest for 5 minutes they usually go away. Or if I clear them using an app connected to the com port. Is this just crap cabling or could it be something else? I don't fancy another £150 for someone to polish my cables again.

Pretty difficult to diagnose that lot. You really need to plug it into VIDA to get more accurate Volvo codes than just the generic ODB codes to see what's going on.

I had an issue once where all kinds of codes were coming up and it boiled down to some cables shorting out following being pinched up.As soon as the short was found all was peace again ...

Are you using a proper Volvo code reader? You won't get any accuracy from the apps that can be downloaded.

Default Broke down again

I broke down again and got towed this time as the reader couldn't connect to the ECU at all. The funny thing -- the car started no problem when the breakdown assistance man wanted to take it down from the tow truck.

The next day I hooked up the car with a DICE and VIDA laptop and got codes showing that there is faulty communication with the BCM and the SWM. Cleared them and tried again, they didn't appear.

Can anyone link a video/provide advice how to check the wires connecting those module to the ECU? I feel like this is a connectivity problem.

Also, if you know any independent Volvo electrician in London I'd be happy to go there instead of doing it myself.
