  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Default c70 head unit

hi, just bought a c70 2007 and want to replace the stereo, (want one that will connect to my android phone)
I can find the facia adaptors but cant find anything about how to connect the new stereo into existing looms. any advice please

Nothing is impossible but the task you've chosen is nearly that. The Volvo system is fibre optic and does not lend itself easily to such modifications.

If you want phone integration most people opt for Parrot, GROM Audio or Dension Gateway 500 systems.

thanks,

looked at the parrot and may go for it but would prefer a double din touch screen if poss, do you know where the amp is located? I can't find any info on this car! some people seem to think various locations in the boot and others say under the seats.
from what I can work out the amp is the main stumbling block, can I bypass it and connect the new unit directly to the speaker cables?
