Default HELP!! Rear shocks and springs

Hellooooo

Can ANYBODY advise as to which shocks and springs I need for my V40 2Li CD? Volvo themselves are of no use other than wanting to charge me £80 just to have a look at them and tell me what i need... It would seem that there are lots to choose from and whoever owned the car before me had the bright idea to put the wrong ones on so the car is not in a good way at the moment and needs the correct ones putting on. All help and advice appreciated people THANKS
