Default Coil spring

Good morning all.
I've broken a front spring on my 2004 S40 and been offered a pair from a
2005 S40, different p/n's. Anyone know if they'll fit? Could save me £120 and being a Scotsman....(insert your own "tight bastd" joke here)
Thanks,
Steve.

There are a multitude of springs available for the different versions , then you have years, up to and after a certain chassis number , comfort , dynamic or sport ! Always get them from the dealer they know from the cars factory build sheet which springs it has nobody else does ...
