It isn't quite as comfortable or economical - I'll give you that !
Dont get me wrong, I do love a decent classic (and a first gen Impreza Turbo hits that just right!!) but some 'classics' don't quite meet the same standards as yours!!
For info, my other car (2020 Mini GP3, a right little pocket rocket!!) is much cheaper to insure than my XC60 even though its much faster and a similar insurance risk level but clearly much cheaper to repair to the premium is lower.

Annual renewal just in from Saga, an unbelievable £900 with a hike in the excesses to £450.

In one year the cost has gone from £375 to £900 an increase of £525, which equates to 240%.

Needless to say I have ditched Saga and opted for Volvo Car Insurance a relative snip at just under £600.
My mother's house was insured with Saga.

Renewal came through, premium near doubled.

I put the exact same details through Compare The Meerkat for her, and it came up at the same price as last year for a new customer - which is actually illegal post the law change in January.

I was all for pulling Saga up on it, but she just told them to stuff it and went elsewhere.

Saga of course are losing a huge amount of money on those two new cruise ships they build - got to extract it from the gullible is my view.

I am insured with Adrian Flux last year it was £500 this year it’s £870 I did a comparison website and can get it for £570 with cash back, but I’ll be phoning Chris Knott first.
