Normally there has to be a small clearance between the push rod and the arm, so increasing the length wouldn't work. You may be able to do a small adjustment at the pedal end on the push rod there.

I have a M90 that I would like to use to replace a M46 gearbox. My concern is that since the input shaft on the M90 is shorter than the M46, then either the M90 does not use a Pilot bearing or it is a raised bearing.
My Volvo dealer does not have anything in his parts data base on a pilot bearing for later models. I s there a part number for a pilot bearing that goes with the M 90 gearbox? |

Does anyone know what's the thickness of a new (diesel) clutch disc?

From memory it should be about 7.5mm clamped. 8.5mm will not work well.
