Default Turbo + Oil Cooler Hoses disconnected

Hey Folks ...

re: 2001 S40 with turbo, 140,000 miles

Took my car to the Specialist and he replaced the timing belt / tensioner / pulley, VVT Gear, cam seals front and rear, crankcase seal, serpentine belt, two hoses to the oil cooler, and the 8" U-shaped hose at the end of the long PCV hose going into the banjo bolt at the engine block. Total cost = $ 1,700us after a "good guy" discount of $250

Picked up the car, went for a 45 minute ride on the highway, and while pulling into my driveway:
** white smoke coming from the engine compartment
** checked the oil = almost full, recently changed the oil + filter
** Zero / none / no coolant in the overflow reservoir
** Intercooler rubber 14" hose by firewall going down to the turbo was completely disconnected at the top
** One hose at the oil cooler was completely disconnected, the one closest to the front of the car

Misc:
** The three hoses were replaced due to oil leaking on them from faulty seals
** The seals were leaking due to a PCV system clog, entire PCV system has been replaced
** Hot day = 90 degrees
** Car ran super on the highway, speed "limit" = 60-70mph
** Stopped on the way home to have a Hot Fudge Sundae to celebrate the car repair
** Timeframe = 45 minutes on the highway, 5 minutes with Sundae, 15 minutes to home at 35mph
** Didn't look at temp gauge while driving, but no Check Engine Light
** Specialist told me I probably need a coil + car was sputtering about a mile from home, kept the revs up; the sputtering at low rpms has been an intermittent problem for a while
** Car was towed back to the Specialist and now waiting to be looked at

What potential damage can be determined right now ?
What future damage will only show up in a few months or greatly shortened life of the Turbo, etc ?

Default Update = Blown Head Gasket

Greetings to my friends on the best Volvo forum,

I had my car towed back to the dealer, they gave me a 2018 S-60 fully loaded Volvo to use while they took care of business. The S-60 has a hefty turbo and I didn't dare to try it out. I'm too old to start a chase with the Highway Patrol ... I already did that with my Corvette - a long time ago.

Meanwhile ... They filled the radiator with coolant, started the car and water was coming out of the head gasket. They pulled the head, sent it out to be cleaned, resurfaced the head, machined the valves and seats, adjusted valves, installed new valve seals, installed a thermostat kit, and threw in a new coil. My Cost = $0.00, including the S-60 loaner for 12 days.

The mechanic said there was no oil in the rubber coolant hoses (causing the hoses to deteriorate) and he checked the turbo and it seemed OK. As part of the head R+R they installed new exhaust manifold gaskets. This is good news cause I think I had one or two bad gaskets. I think the gaskets went bad due to my PCV / Oil Trap was clogged and causing the rear camshaft seal to leak oil - the oil dripped down the manifold and causing the exhaust manifold gaskets to crack / fail. I found a three inch piece of a gasket on my garage floor.

My theory is that the cracked / missing gaskets caused exhaust gases to hit the Oxygen sensor and send a code to the Check Engine Computer / dash light - and - a code for the Catalytic converter. Two weeks of driving and neither of these codes has occurred. Time will tell.
