If you haven't already have you tried a cheap generic OBD2 reader or one of the ELM327 type dongles you can get from Amazon that work with a phone?

At least they would confirm whether the OBD2 port itself in the car is working?

Yep tried that mate and worked OK so the obd was OK. One of the helpful guys on here met me local with his dice setup. Checked my dice and that's works with his so knew it was the vida setup side. He put me on to an install that worked for him. Downloaded it and took some fettling but got there eventually. The guy also checked the codes on mine and cancelled them. The common yaw sensor. Also found a split hose so changing that. Cars drives like it did now so well chuffed. I'll find the guys on screen name and thank him on here. 👍
