Default S60 Misbehaving

Hi All,

The S60 has decided to play up recently, with what seems to be a misfire. Previously had hesitation under acceleration / momentary loss of power on the motorway while cruising.

I scanned the codes and got the following back:

ECM-262A Long-term fuel trim, bank 1 – Lower limit
ECM-6814 Turbo Control – Signal too high

I will be checking the plugs as a matter of course, but I was expecting to see a misfire code of some description logged given the behaviour I have experienced from the car.

Looking at the codes above could anybody suggest what else I could look at?

Thanks,

Andrew

Not got much of an idea with petrol I'm afraid.
Your symptoms do sound like issues I had recently though, which ended up being my MAF.
An easy check is to unplug it and see if it improves your running.
It will limit the revs though, so it won't be a good idea to take it on the motorway.
It'll give you an idea though and it's an easy and free DIY check.
Your Engine Service Required light will come on the dash but disappear when you reconnect the MAF.
It may also store a code for your next diagnostic check, so ignore that when it happens.......unless of course it is the cause of your fault.
