V50 D2 2010 gear knob removal
Hi all.
I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to remove the gear knob off my car, allso the plastic trim that holds the gater in to the surround has broken. Does anyone know how I could get a new one. Thanks very much. |

From memory I think you push down on the lever and twist it anti clockwise but it's usually on pretty tight!!
Don't quote me on that though, I'll see if I can find a more concrete answer

Hi I watched all the videos possible for this on my 2010 s40 r design. I tried for days to remove it by what I was seeing in videos and on threads. I sat down In car this morning and thought ok one more try but this time I pushed down and just wiggled it with tiny movements clock wise anti clock wise and up and down and to my amazement it just popped off. So relieved after so long using brute force it just needed teasing out. Hope that helps you guys.
