Default ABS Cutting In At Low Speed- But No Anti Skid Warning?

As per the title chaps

Within the last week I can clearly feel the ABS is cutting in through the pedal at low speed stops in my 2001 V70, meanwhile, there's no warning lights/anti skid message on dash (The bulbs are working- I've checked them on position 2 ignition)

The question is...Reluctor ring or ABS sensor...? The absence of warning lights has thrown me out slightly. Also, is there a way to distinguish which corner is the suspect without access to Vida?

Thanks in advance

You need to do some more diagnostics. Take all wheels off and take abs sensors out, look at them have any of the reluctor rings expanded due to rust underneath and started wearing away the abs sensors? I have a non Volvo car with this problem i put small washers under abs sensors to bring them all further away from the reluctor rings. You can also look down the hole to check condition of the rings.

I have same issue.. turned out to be a cracked reluctor ring on drivers front wheel
My symptoms were slight occasions abs judder at manuvering speed and the traction control cutting power when turning left.
The abs warning was off 99% of the time apart from once on a long fast sweeping left hand bend which I guess gave enough of a wheel speed difference to upset it.

As said above you can visually inspect the front rings and sensors with the wheels off.
