54k miles is no mileage for D5 injectors. Have you driven the car for any long periods of time. I would be tempted to give it an hour or so down the motorway to get it nice and hot. It may sort itself as it could just be build up formed from it being stood. When was the fuel filter last changed? For a bit of fuel it's what I would try first.

Who has told you it needs injectors? Obviously diagnostics would be need to make sure this is correct but I would be surprised if all injectors have failed because it's been parked up. You can get injectors refurbished but you say your car is a 2006. If it has the grey engine cover the injectors are coded to the CEM and refurbishing normally removes any coding meaning you will have to have them recorded by a Volvo dealer or someone with the correct Volvo software.

Hi Graham
Thanks for your reply,I haven't given it a good run, just ran it up the motorway for half hour,I've changed the fuel filter,I've taken the car to a very reliable garage, when the car starts from cold I get diesel knock,he has changed 1 injector,it's slightly better but not
Much.I put an injector cleaner in and it did start better.Once car has been used and started it starts easly and runs like a watch, mechanic said it needs driving as it was stood for long time.
