TaDa! Now just convert it to a tracked vehicle and I reckon you have a winner

My Peugeot is safe, https://www.lifewire.com/would-your-...attack-3903248

I think the battery will survive it seems, I just need a much bigger fuel tank. Fuel will become a bit of a problem after the said attack. Fit some truck fuel tanks in the back of my pick-up (worried my 50 Cal might not fit now).

Start making wood alcohol and mix it with chip oil to get around the lack of fuel, add the truck fuel tanks and swap the .50 cal for a Mad Max style flame thrower. If you could get it to run on a mix of wood alcohol, chip fat and bacon grease then you would instantly become a leader of men in the post-apocalyptic world as the smell alone would I think bring a wide following.

What? No Toyota Hilux Pickup.
One of the late '80's models with the 2.5l diesel.
If it got hit by an EMP the EMP would break and the Toyota would drive on.
Perfect for mounting a heavy machine gun too.

The hi lux would get from Scotland to Portsmouth but it's so uncomfortable I doubt the driver would.

Are any of those cars even easily available now, let alone 2 years time? It would need to be something easy to find, not tucked away somewhere.
Someone already alluded to cockroaches surviving nuclear holocaust. Surely the automotive equivalent is the K11 Nissan Micra?
