Default Airbag fault - '00 V70 TDI

Evening
I've had an Airbag Urgent Service warning pop up on the information display on my '00 V70 TDI and a trusted local mechanic has been having a go at diagnosing and fixing it. No joy so far but it has come up with the following codes using his Autel MaxiSys MS9085 tool:
  • Intermittent Fault: SRS-010E control module; internal fault
  • Intermittent Fault: SRS-0044 Intermittent fault: SPIS bag right front resistance too high
  • Intermittent Fault: SRS-007C seat belt tensioner, middle; resistance too high
  • Intermittent Fault: SRS-0084 seat belt tensioner, rear right, resistance too high

Does anyone have any suggestions for a fix??

Many thanks,

Bill

PS. If it's any use, these are my ECU details:

ECU software part number: 0008622385 B, 0009452729 A
ECU diagnostic part number: 08622367 A
ECU HW P/N: 0009452751 A
ECU HW S/N: 000140020504

PPS. Must update my vehicle history as I've had this one for years and it's not shown! There is a chance that it won't be around much longer

Mya be a long shot, but any chance the large front connector under the seat was disrupted ? Or something got stuck under the seat and crushed a wire ? If you decide to look at the connector, be sure to undo the battery at least 10 min ahead https://youtu.be/oZ_7wV_bwsE

I have a V50..."SRS internal fault"...removed Module sent away for wiping clean...refitted it...problem solved...but come to think of it...when i got to removing the connectors from the Module..under/by the seat,as mentioned above....i noticed that one was quite loose, with the securing clip ,adrift slightly...and not really making a good fit into the Module....so the advice about checking the connectors to the Module is very good advice...before you decide to remove it.....Had i done this first...i could have saved myself many hours of worry!!!!

Default Thanks

Thanks Oragex, Classman for your quick replies. I'll see if this has come loose and whether the codes can be cleared - Fingers crossed!

Any other suggestions welcomed

Bill

Hi,
For what it's worth,i had SRS faults on mine last year(mk2 v70 2.5d) after lots of dead ends it turned out to be the electrical part of the ignition switch(opposite end to the key).
Part had to come from Sweden ,but was here within the week.......approx £37 i think.......i'm NOT saying this is your troubles.Col..
