If you click on one of the pictures on StatusRed's thread on C70: Knocking/banging it will take you to his Flickr page. Scrolling down that shows what looks like a home made strut bar made from square tubing. Also shows the change to studs from bolts for the mount at the strut ends. Not the most glamourous of struts but should work well and be pretty easy to make.
Perhaps he would care to offer info about it?

They are not my pictures, so no, and David sold his bar long time ago.

Just seen this, here's the one flaggy made (I painted it blue and added the VOLVO decal):

Thanks for the picture 👍👍 I had been through the post and looked at the picture as previously suggested

Looking at the picture, does it not prevent you from being able to open the engine bay fuse box? And can you actually feel a difference with it fitted??

It feels a little bit different for maybe 2 days and then it just feels "normal" so you forget the difference from before.

I haven't actually tried to access the fuse box with it on, but I have a similiar problem on my S40 where the strut brace covers the battery but I can slide the plastic battery cover out from underneath it to access the terminals, maybe the same deal with this.

If not.. it's only 4x 13mm (I think) bolts to undo if you needed to access it, would take 5 minutes max to undo them.
