39 with a 2005 V70 T5

It’s disturbing how attached I’m getting to them - considering my first one was bought as a practical-but-different ‘tip run’ car when the house was getting renovated.. I liked it so much I bought another higher spec and mapped one from a forum member a couple of months later.
Even the missus likes it!

These days i actually prefer it to the daily car - a 2018 bmw 330e. (Apart from the fuel economy lol)

I had a blue Astra a whole back. We called it The Turdis as it was big on the outside, but somehow tiny inside

Am coming up for 79 and currently run a 1997 S90 2.9 SE manual version which has been the best of the bunch - previously owned a 360 followed by an 850. 2 x V70's and an XC70 (the worst!!)
Just about to sell the S90 as going to "hang up my boots"!

I am 39 and currently driving an 09 XC60 SE Lux Premium as our main car and a 2011 C30 D2 R Design for work commuting 👍. I was in my late 20s when I first had a Volvo (a 1998 S40) and loved it. Nothing else has ever made me feel as comfortable as a Volvo

49 ( for a couple more months anyway!!) And drive my 210,000 mile 03 plate S60 and have also recently acquired a very nice 05 plate C70 for the missus, who always swore blind she would never have a convertible because she hates them ( right up until she saw and fell in love with Sigrid, as she has christened it )

Bought my first Volvo, a powder blue 1976 245 DL at the tender age of 18 for £200, and fell in love with the brand, I really loved that car, it was brilliant. I miss GGT676T and wish I had rescued her after her transmission belt snapped, but I didn't 'cause I was young and stupid!!

Since then I have had several 740's, a 265, and a couple of the 300 series cars. 👍👍

Default Volvo C30 R Design 1.6 D2

48.....just wanted a small economic run around....bought a C30 1.6D2 R Design. Had a brand new Drive 61 plate from the showroom when they came out and the economy was just Mazing MPG. The 1.6D2 is still good, great looking motors and solid to drive...fantastic handling. Nipping down the road to get some shopping suddenly takes a lot longer especially after fitting some BBS SR 205X40X18........
