They are not half worn yet but I've had them for years now and give superb confidence in all weather. They are the snowtrac version...not a fan of their summer tyres oddly.

Took the 850 for its MOT, which it passed with no advisories. The tester commented positively on its condition, and even offered to buy it off me for what equated to three times my purchase price. Certainly a tempting offer...!

Pretty happy with that, really. All it's needed this last year is a camshaft position sensor and a pair of CV boots - about £90 in parts. Definitely the cheapest year so far, by a long margin.

The 850 was close to marginal on passing the emissions though, and the car is smelling a bit rich. I have some investigating to do, but should I be looking at anything in particular? I'm thinking O2 senso?

I did this to the C70 today

And considering I have never done it before, and didn't have any instructions, it was really easy. I stripped the front end off the car and had it all back together in just 3 hours, which I thought was pretty good.

They are well put together and simple to work on.

Apart from taking the bumper off and back on again, what else were you doing?

They really are simple to work on, compared to my S60, working on the C70 has so far been a pleasure.

My OCD kicked in I'm afraid, I couldn't look at the broken foglight anymore, and as I can't afford even a second hand replacement at the moment, it had to come out of the bumper, well, they both did actually.

I know, I'm sad!! 🙄🙄

C70 had an initial fail of MoT but a subsequent pass after replacement of perished ball joint gaiters....@ £60 to replace both near and off side gaiters it has to be a result - thanks Mick's MOTs (https://www.motrochester.co.uk/stati...e.asp?pid=3260 )

I've not used any other garage for the last 20 or so years for MoTs or the necessary repairs to provide a pass - superb value for money, honest, reliable, trustworthy and really great support and conversation with full and frank explanation of necessary works with faulty parts retained for inspection- THANK YOU Mau.

Still not received the 850R, but that hasn't stopped me from buying a Swedish language SIPS sticker for the back window
