Default 2013 V60 Bluetooth Retrofit + LED Headlights

Hi All,

I have a 2013 V60 D4 [163] R-Design coming up to 120,000 miles having put 80,000 of those on myself. Love the car but have been considering changing it.

I have decided to get the cam-belt and aux-belt work done and keep her going, hopefully to 200k+ miles but would like to make some changes to it to make it more liveable.

Has anyone had any success with retro-fitting bluetooth so it works through the infotainment system? Would this involve buying a used unit with bluetooth from a breaker? Presumably that would need someone at a Volvo dealership to decode or similar?

Also, has anyone had any success with installing LED headlights? They obviously constantly on so heat would concern me...

Have already swapped out the dull yellow interior and licence plate bulbs for LED's which makes a big difference.

Any other suggestions to give the old girl a revamp?

Cheers.

Not sure but I think retro fitting LED bulbs for headlights is not road legal in the UK currently?

Are your current ones Xenon or halogen? - if xenon try new osram or philips bulbs as they do deteriorate with age. If halogen try some osram 'nighbreakers' to improve the light a bit.

Great, thanks Gareth. Osram 'nightbreaker 200' bulbs ordered.
