Looking back over time it seems that confusion reigns as to what relay is where on the 400 series. I have had a "dig" around and as far as I can make out, the following applies. Broadly there are two main versions of the main relay distribution box - an early one which includes the fuses and a later one containing relays only (with fuse box in RH under dash panel). Also note that not all cars or versions have all the relays shown. In addition a number of relays are located behind the dashboard and these seem to apply to both early and late cars. Note the relays shown on the A post may (on UK cars) be located on the nearside. I think I've got this right but if anyone can correct any mistakes or omissions or add any extras we should end up with a definitive list. Mollusk.
