New V60 ordered...

Just put the deposit down on a new V60 D4 Momentum Pro in fusion red and black leather.

Extras:

- automatic gearbox
- Intellisafe Pro
- 360 camera
- smartphone integration

Hoping I won't need the front sensors with the camera. Since I managed to crash into my own garage wall even with sensors, I think they come in too late to be all that helpful.

Only thing I'm still in two minds about is the colour, not sure whether to go for a grey. Current V60 is Heinz Tomato Soup Red (possibly not official colour name...) which I've grown quite fond of.

Waiting for dealer to get back to me with estimated delivery date, but they reckon approximately 3 months.

Please stick with the red - in a world where every car seems to be black, white, silver or grey, it will be nice to see a colour!

i was getting my daughters (grey) Mini looked at today at the BMW garage - a transporter turned up with a load of new BMWs - apart from one blue X3 (the signature colour in all the new ads of the M40i) they were all white, black or grey. Its just amazing....

Metallic red looks awesome in some of the pics I have seen on here.

You'll laugh, changed it to Pebble Grey since it's the one used in all the promotional photos. Also resale values.

Delivery on the 24th August apparently, spec lock in is tomorrow. Surprised how much quicker Volvo is at getting dates for delivery compared to three years ago.

Seems like a common date - my last date of change of order is tomorrow too, with delivery 24th Aug (but I’ll be waiting). Difficult choice between fusion red and denim blue but I’ve gone for the latter as I (the other half) thinks it goes better with the city weave. I guess blue is a touch of colour... Pebble grey looks great too though!

Hope you enjoy it. The trouble is it is becoming self fulfilling on resale - every one chooses grey so grey is safe so everyone chooses grey...

Trouble is colours come in and out of fashion. I can remember when white was a no no. Now it’s trendy. The latest trend is the audi Nardo Grey. I see a similar flat grey on minis and Honda civics. Is Pebble grey similar? If so I like it, but it may be a trendy fashion. The colour I like is the metallic red on Mazdas.
